Marco Merino has been appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Veritas Intercontinental, Europe & Latam, a subsidiary of Veritas Genetics, The Genome Company.

Engineer from the University of Cantabria, Marco Merino’s curriculum is completed with a Postgraduate in General Management Program (PDG) by the IESE Business School and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and Communications from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM).

As Chief Information Officer of Veritas Int. and member of the Executive Committee, Marco Merino will be responsible for the development of Veritas Int.’s technology and bioinformatics platforms. He will be coordinating the global group of experts to ensure the integrity of the information, besides he will be focusing technological advances on genomic products to offer the best solutions in the portfolio of Veritas Int.

Before joining Veritas, Marco Merino has been Corporate CIO of Chemo Group, Global Service IT Director of NGA Human Resources, EMEA IT Lead of Computer Sciences Corporation and CIO of Marconi Communications Iberia.
